soo i’ve read a lot of books and taken many anatomy related science classes and they all mention how a woman can’t get pregnant a few days before their period. so is it really true women can’t get pregnant a few days before their period starts ??

Kind of, if your period is starting in a few days the egg could be fertilized but it takes  9-12 dpo estimating, for implantation. So just because the egg gets fertilized doesnt mean the conditions are right in your uterus for implantation to occur during that time. So odds of getting pregnant low, but not impossible.

It depends on if you’re truly starting your period the next few days. You could ovulate really late and still end up pregnant
