Baby Shower conflict with Boyfriend

My BFFs and cousins want to throw me a baby shower . I was so excited they wanted to do this for me. I told them to surprise me and I know it will be fabulous because I trust them.

I have been working on my invite list which I know will be large due to me coming out of a huge family and adding around 25 friends.

Meanwhile , my boyfriend told me his family was doing one for his side of family and I was cool with that.

Something happened and his family are not doing one.

My guest list along is around 60 ppl. Now ; he wants me to add his family and friends which will make invite to 125ish (which is large ) . I presented the list to my friends and rightfully so; their mouth dropped . So I told him to drop his friends and let them do something for him. He did reluctantly.

Since then ; he has been blowing up on me about when are my friends sending out invites ; what the invitations look like; what venue they are having it at . I’m like; I don’t know they are all handling it and they have a planning committee. And they are surprise me. He just doesn’t get it.

Then he was like his sister wants to help my family and friends and why haven’t anyone contacted her yet.

They have a group and I told them about her and I guess they haven’t contacted her yet.

Today; he blew up on me Again until I was in tears. So I said your family needs to do something for you. And to Leave me alone about this shower and what my people are doing for me. Then he was like his momma asking when invites coming. I told him they will be sent out a month before event.

I didn’t know guys were so into baby shower.

I just needed to vent because this is causing conflict.
