Anyone’s experience with diclegis?

I’m getting put on diclegis for severe nausea and vomiting ? Has anyone else had that and it helped? Side effects ?

Yes a lifesaver. Take it at night though because it makes you really tired.

It helped a little. Some days I would still throw up but overall i think without it I would not have been able to function. The worst was that it made me very sleepy and lethargic

It helped me but only if I took it right when I woke up and then at the same time every night. Pretty much took it every 12 hours whether I felt bad or not. If I skipped a dose, I’d be throwing up again the next day.

It’s the exact same active ingredients as unisom and b6 (vitamin b6 and doxylamine succinate). I was on diclegis my first pregnancy but my insurance no longer covers it and it was going to cost $590 for a month’s supply, so I ended up going the unisom and b6 route (which is about $7/month). If your insurance covers diclegis then yay, if not, consider the alternate route. They both helped me a ton (obviously with the same active ingredients they work exactly the same, when taken in the same doses). They’re not magical and I still get nauseated if I forget to eat for more than 2-3 hours but otherwise they’ve helped lots! Both take a few days to build up in your system and get the full effects of the help, in my experience. Good luck!

I take 4 a day! It's the only way I can eat like a normal person. I started with 2 at night and then increased to 1 in the morning and 1 mid-afternoon as well. It did make me REALLY tired the first few weeks and there always seems to be the weird taste in my mouth, but definitely worth not vomiting everyday

It’s amazing!!!!! It’s a life saver for me. I take 2 at night. I was taking one, but by 5pm I was miserable again.
