Which virtual assistant ?

My husband and I are debating getting either the Amazon Echo (Alexa) or a Google Home. Which one is better? Pros and cons?

We use the whole house Alexa. Dots in every room, echo show in living room, and Alexa in basement. We bought the show and wyze camera for the nursery. I want to buy an echo show 5 for the bedroom eventually. We also have the smart bulbs, tv, and outlets in a few rooms. I like being able to dim the lights and control lighting without having to go to the room. We can also turn off and on TV's with a demand.  We bought the bulbs almost 2 years ago and haven't had to replace one yet. I'm not sure in comparison to Google but we enjoy the alexa. It can be an expensive investment upfront but with their trade in program we can upgrade and get money plus a hefty discount when we upgrade products.

I LOVE Alexa. I don’t know much about google. Alexa has put music, for a price, controls our light, starts out music and is easy to use/
