Do you guys count weeks when determining how many months?

Question

For example.... my baby is 16 weeks Monday. But he was born March 18. So which way do you determine he’s four months old- weeks or July 18?

If you did it by weeks, their first birthday would fall on a different day. For example, my son was born on March 25th. If I count 52 weeks from that day, his first birthday would be on March 23rd. There are more than 4 weeks in each month! So to be correct, you should go by month!

Your baby is 16 weeks and is also 3 ½ months.
My baby turned 4 months on Monday and will be 18 weeks on Friday.

You count months in months, not multiples of four weeks. If you did that there would be 13 months in a year

I went week by week until he turned 2 months old then i go by month now

When asked her age I always go by months now. She’s 4 months as of the first. But I think in weeks and mostly to other moms I say weeks. This young, week by week are more significant changes.

He is four months on the 18th, but 16 weeks on that Monday. My son was born March 18th too!
