Has anyone tried flex disc?

My flow is pretty heavy, and i cramp pretty badly.

Diva cup always overflowed on me, and wouldn’t come out if it wasn’t almost to the overflow point or overflowed (i used it on and off for 4 years). I use about 10-15 tampons a day on my heavy days, about 5-8 on lighter days (and many pads for the leakage on all days).

I used to see a gynecologist and they put me on birth control, and it barely helped or did anything. I tried two pills and the depo shot.

If anything, one gave me acne, one gave me migraines, the other gave me both. So i just quit trying.

My boyfriend and I also wish to have period sex, but with my heavy cycle, I am scared. I know the blood stops entirely or slows down when aroused, but in the times in the past we have tried- it is still too much blood for my comfort level.

Has anyone had sex with the flex disc? How was it? Was there any leakage? Did you and your partner still feel completely stimulated? Did you use any additional protection? (i understand the disc is not birth control, but it is protection from the blood)
