Am I a bad girlfriend?

My bf texted me and told me he had to tell me something so ofc I agreed to talk to him. He told me that he had cancer and I don’t wanna sound like a horrible person but I have really bad trust issues and it kind of doesn’t help that he’s lied to me about things before nothing this big but he still lied to me before. I feel bad that I’m basically accusing him of lying but i just don’t know what to do...does me not really believing him make me a bad girlfriend?

I think you should just break up with him if you can’t even trust what he’s saying when he says “I have cancer”...

Did he go to an appointment before hand to have something biopsied of to have blood work? He would have had to have something like this to confirm a cancer diagnosis. If he didn’t mention to you about going to appointments, but just suddenly out of the blue announces cancer, he’s likely lying.

Can he show u test results saying he has it?? If he comes up with some bs saying I cant get it or something along that line. Then u know he lying. I have dealt with people in my family who had cancer no joke it’s paper work and a lot of appointment they had to deal with. If he is lying about it u need to leave. That something someone should never say they have it but really they don’t.! Also ! If u can’t trust him and U have to sit their and think to ur self is he lying.?? Then u might want to call off the relationship. U got to have 100% trust in a relationship. If u don’t got that then it’s not a good relationship. 
That one of my pet peeves!!! If my man lies to me I will call his ass out and ask y lie?? And I’ll tell him he walking on ice. So he knows if he does it again we’re done. Girl I been in ur shoes where a man lies to ur face. And it hurts bc ur sitting their think dam y would he lie like that? And ur stuck between ur feeling and the truth. Bc ur feeling get in the way bc u love him. But him lying hurts bc u will never know if he telling the truth. Girl just find out if he telling the truth of not leave his ass. Hell I would left his ass a long time ago bc of the lying shit. Keep up date😊

You need trust in relationships if not it will never work so I would leave him since he lied before this could be his way of thinking that you will stay by his side if cancer is lie 
But if you wanna know if hes lying ask him all kinda of question about what cancer he has how serious it is ask to go with him to his doctor appointments etc if its lie most likely he wont know anything if he does answer look everything up he told you just to make sure what he said is the same as what Google will say   
My friend did that when her ex said he had cancer it was lie since he couldn't answer  any of her questions but it helped her out so much since he was trying to get her to pay for some of the "hospital bills"
