As if my almost 30 day hospital stay wasn’t hard enough, they keep insisting on an IV the second I start having contractions (I can’t feel them)... I’ve now blown through 2 good veins, another was rolled and punctured, and the 4th attempt hit a valve. They even wanted to put a picc line in me. I have 2 days until my c-section and unless my contractions are progressing or not backing off, I don’t see the purpose. I feel like they’re just needle happy here and it’s starting to really frustrate me!!
