I’m 26, and I still can’t put on a tampon

Update: I started my period yesterday but it was very light! Today I was able to put a tampon! It took 3 different kinds and I think this whole time I was just trying the wrong ones lol

So a few days ago I replied to a comment about a user that finally put on a tampon successfully and it got me thinking that I still can’t put one on successfully and I’m a 26 year old wife, and mother.

I always get such anxiety trying to stick it in, i cannot relax my muscles for the life of me. Also, a few years ago I thought I put it in right but I still had a mess on my undies! So I decided to stop since it was giving me anxiety and leaving a mess!

So my projected period start is in 5 days and I went to the store and bought a box of U by Kotex Regular tampons, the only ones I’ve tried before were the Tampax! I hope these are better and I can magically insert it correctly lol I don’t mind wearing pads at all but I do mind wearing them in the summer lol

Has anyone tired these? Do you like them? Which tampons do you prefer?
