Will they stop labor?

Question

36+3 now since they changed my due date from July 28th to August 2nd.. if I were to go into labor in the next few days would they stop it? Had my son at 37 weeks via induction so I’m just curious. Been having a lot of back pain, hip pain and contractions that aren’t really consistent. But I was just curious what others had encountered. Thanks!

Probably not. Usually around 35/36 weeks doctors no longer stop labor if it happens.

Unless there was an actual medical reason I don’t see them stopping labor at this late stage. I would check with your doctor

I think it depends on the hospital/your doctor. Usually induction before 39 weeks is only if it’s safer for Mom and baby than waiting. If your water breaks they’ll let you have the baby but they might stop labor if your water hasn’t broken.
