Does anyone else’s partner do this?

My dh is on vacation from work this week and has no plans for watching our son any of these days. My husband is not lazy but he seems to prioritize yard work over our son and this isn’t the first time he’s done this. My dh has plans to do yard work and help his step father with some things but I think it’s sad he can’t spend one single day with our 8 month old. He is also traveling for work so he has to pack and get ready fo r that. I just feel like his time with our baby is always his last priority
