What is the drawer under the oven on an electric stove/oven for?

I had never had an electric stove before. In gas ones I’ve had you could use the bottom drawer to store cookie sheets and such. But I’m scared to in this one because I don’t know for sure. 
I don’t have an owners manual for it. I just moved to a new house, and it came with the house.

I put pans in it, but I’ve read it’s kind of like s warmer lol. Odd place to warm food. Lol.

It's supposed to be a warning drawer if it's like mine but we use it for storage.

Some are for broiling and some as just warming drawers.
