Pet land and pregnancy?

Has anyone worked for petland and would know if it’s safe to work at during pregnancy

It’s fine. Just wear gloves when handling / cleaning animals and stay away from
Cat litter. Wear face masks when doing bedding changes if that’s part of your job. I worked at a pet store my entire first pregnancy. I had my daughter on my day off.

I don’t but my doc only warned me about cats and the dangers of changing their kitty litter. He didn’t mention any other pat concerns.

I still volunteer at the humane society.  Just watch your hygiene carefully, lots of hand washing, and skip litter box duty if you have it.
