When you go into labor, where do you go?

Obviously the hospital but I mean what department? Emergency?

Ask your hospital if they do L&D tours. If they do-bring your partner! They should show you different rooms you’d be staying in, explain the process, and show you where to be dropped off and where your partner can park, etc.

Labor and delivery unless it is after hours than emergency.

If you go into labor in the middle of the night you may still have to go to the emergency dept, they’ll take you to labor and delivery.  Unless they’re like the lazy security guard with my last who just gave me terrible directions 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

At my hospital, between 8 pm to 5 am you go to the Er. Otherwise it’s l&d

We had to go to the eR and then they bring you up to labor and delivery

You call ahead and go straight to labor and delivery.  The ER will just waste tons of your time while you’re in pain.
