I think its great so many women are able to stay home with thier babies. I just didn't realize how many families can actually do this! Maybe its a cultural thing or just the economy in different countries but I don't personally know any SAHM's everyone has to work full time jobs, and we are in the middle of a child care crisis with wait lists for liscenced spaces over a year long. I have just seen soo many posts recently about SAHM's and thier husbands ect... I'm curious if you are a SAHM where are you from?? I'm in Canada and will definitely be returning to work full time after maternity leave. It will be a tough year for us as is because maternity leave only pays 55 percent of your wages so I can't imagine not going back.

I am incredibly lucky to be Canadian and have a year for maternity I can't imagine going back to work after a few weeks! I definitely think that Canada has more women in the workforce than the U.S and prehaps our maternity leave is the reason why?**
