Doctor didn’t do a physical examine at my postpartum appointment, is that normal?

My appointment was today at 5 weeks PP. I didn’t have any tears or stitches, I just kind of assumed that’s why. He cleared me for sex and all. He didn’t even ask if I’m still bleeding. I’m not though, it ended 2.5 weeks ago

Mine did a minor exam. Just felt around to ensure inside healed well. I’m surprised they didn’t do any real exam.

I didn't have a physical exam until a little after 3 months Postpartum. They counted it as my yearly though so I won't go back for a while

Mine just looked at my CS incision and asked if I had any questions and what I was planning to use for birth control and that was it. The didn’t look me over much 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mine did once the next day after birth because of my stitches but that's it if that helps.

Mine did a minor exam to make sure everything was back in place or working it’s way back to where it should be. I had a minor tear that healed within a week and bleeding stopped about a week and a half after baby

My dr didn’t do a physical afterwards. He did mine almost 5 months pp because it was time for my yearly.
