I went for a sweep this morning (40+1). The babies head isn't engaged so she said it's unsafe to do a sweep. This is my second baby so she said it's not uncommon. The baby is also back to back so she said position isn't great for labour to try get it turned. That I will likely have a long labour and need an assisted birth. I'm really worried now I'm going to need induced 12 days late and have a long induction with forceps. I had a horrible first labour with induction, forceps and episiotomy and I fear this is going to be a repeat. Why is my body failing going into labour naturally? The baby was also estimated 7lbs 1oz at 37 weeks so I'm worried its going to be really big to add to complications too.
