To my older sister.

As the title says I kind of hate you. You manipulate people into doing things for you. Because everyone is constantly falling at your feet to get things done for you, no one is able to help me. No one wants to help you any more because they've caught on, but because of you no one wants to help me either.

You used to turn up at Dad's, drop your daughter off, and leave without saying anything to anyone so they'd be forced to look after her, often overnight. And now, on the very rare occasions I ask someone to watch either of my boys for just a short while they don't want to. Because although I don't take the piss, you always did!

It has been a nightmare trying to get someone to watch my oldest for a few moments while I had to take my youngest to the doctors for his vaccinations - luckily they've been good at rescheduling appointments for when my oldest is at nursery. Or trying to get someone to watch my youngest for me to go to nursery or school meetings for my oldest. And if I need someone to have both the boys for whatever reason - such as going for my smear test - well I guess I'll just have to cancel whatever it is I need to do because that's not going to happen!
