I am a mom to a 3.5 year old autistic boy and a 2mo girl. My boy has severe language delays and fails to express his feelings or needs .We are doing all kinds of therapy to help him. However, this means I should be on job so I can afford the caregivers. Due to the frequent meltdown that my son has its impossible for me to give the same amount of attention to my girl. I'm very disheartened at my situation. My husband is of no help. Today at a public place, my son was kicking me for like 40 minutes and rolling on the stairs of a shopping complex. I could barely get him to car seat and bring him home. I am failing at all levels. I feel helpless and looking at my kids I feel sorry for them. I think O may be in depression but I dont k ow how to recognize the symptoms. Please share positive stories of toddler with autism. I really dont want to go downhill because I sincerely want to live happily with my kiddos. 🙏
