uncomfortable discussing pregnancy?

every time I read about or if someone brings up pregnancy, I get squirmy.... i feel this weird, uncomfortable feeling in my stomach like “nope, not now, not anytime soon...” lol even about birth control, or even period cramps. is this normal ? lol

It’s certainly normal for me. I don’t know why but I find pregnancy to be kind of gross

It just sounds like a topic you’re not comfortable discussing...maybe it’s not a topic brought up often? People often feel that way on things they aren’t used to discussing.

It gives me real bad anxiety ..... probably because I’m on the road of never wanting a baby ... Not that I don’t like kids or anything, I like the idea of taking care of them , teaching, help & guiding them, and Specially being Emotional Support !! ..... but not the idea of being a mother for some reason... like I know if I were to have kid that I would be there mother and they would call my mom.. but I can’t wraps my head around the concept of being a mother idk.. I can accept being seen as a parent figure our guardian of them... ((That and  babysitting or watch a child/teen for a week is most definitely different then being 24/7... being on the note of having kids..)) And that goes into other reasoning why I don’t think it’s a good idea to have kids.. being for 1. How mentally handle thing & stress. 2. My Narcolepsy.  3. Family history of problem evolving pregnancy & birth ... all being ON TOP OF all the things & problems that  can happen &automatically come with pregnancy.. ....... it just give my A LOT Of ANXIETY.... heh not being able to handle the situation well.. at all.. if it were to happen...       And that make me have a HIGE  FEAR OF PREGNANCY.... which is horribly bad adding the addition of my sex drive & cravings ..............  I’m my own enemy ... likely my stress response is to go full hall avoidance of things... but that effects everything physically & mentally/ emotionally and isn’t very healthy but it the only way of avoiding impulsive decisions & choices for me...  (◕︿◕✿)
