Can you ever forgive a cheater?

Found out that he’s been lying and fucked an ex behind my back. We live together and I’m heartbroken. Says it was a mistake and he regrets it but he didn’t tell me. She did. 
Can someone do that to you if they really love you? Can you ever move on from that break of trust?

I don’t believe that once a cheater, always a cheater, but I could never forgive someone who cheated on me. He shattered the trust in your relationship. Know your worth.

Once a cheater always a cheater. If she hadn’t of told you you wouldn’t have known that
He done that. Second she’s just as bad as him because she knew that he was with you, unless he lied to her about you and him spilt up. He doesn’t feel remorse about what he’s done otherwise he would off told you straight away, or stopped
Half way through their sex session. He doesn’t care what he’s done if he really loved you he wouldn’t of even slept with the ex and she should of known better she could of said no to him
