Husband with the flu, what do you do??

What do you do when your partner is sick to prevent your baby and yourself from catching it? Besides avoiding them at all costs,..

Breastfeed or get donor milk. Baby will be fine. My first son got sick at 6 weeks old. It’s just a part of being a baby. I got the flu at 35 weeks pregnant along with my 14 month old. Just let it ride out... don’t fight the fever, let it do it’s job. Doctors like to scare parents when in reality our bodies along with babies are designed to fight off illness this way. It boosts the immune system long term. Lots of skin to skin and breastfeed if you can.

No clue if it helps at all, but I just make sure to drink lots of water and stay hydrated. If I start to not feel good I drink a little orange juice each morning. Then just get as much rest as you can and disinfect everything.

my partner wore a medical mask all the time when he was handling the baby and luckily it never happened that she would get sick. And I just avoided physical contact and used a special water based desinfection for everyone 😉.

breastfeed. go to your local health food store and get real elderberry syrup. take tons of that. also get real vitamin c. not the crap they sell at regular stores lol make sure you sleep enough and eat super healthy. drink lots of water

The same as I always do when trying to avoid getting sick. Wash handsa lot, wash everything a lot and avoid being sneezed or coughed on.

Hot lemon and honey for you. Your anti bodies that fight the bug go to your little girl through breast milk if you are BFing. Disinfect all surfaces and door handles often. Tell your hubby to wash his hands ALL THE TIME.
