What is spirituality aside from a feeling?

How do you know if an experience was spiritual?

Here's the thing when I say I'm spiritual I'm saying I'm lead by HolySpirit. I'm an obedient Lord Jesus believer and the only spirit I want to be like is like him. Spirituality through a Lord Jesus believer's eyes is when your mind is filled with holy desires. Letting the Lord move through you.

I've always felt a deep connection to the earth and animals. I feel more at peace when I'm in nature. I talk to my tomatos as a prune them, chat with the birds that visit my feeder, spend quality time with my dogs and cats. For me it's just this feeling of gratitude and peace.

You could post this in the religion and spirituality room too. I think it's very personal and alot of times when someone experiences something, it's not usually quantifiable or able to be proven. But those who have that same experience can come together. I also think that organized religion can sway someone to think they had a certain experience when they didn't, which happened to myself when I was younger.

I think I have, I’m still not sure how to describe everything about it and have never felt it since. It was about 6 months into my year without going near any man (relationship wise) as I had been in an abusive relationship and was working on myself. 
I meditated a lot that year and that is what I was doing when I was fully relaxed and opening my chakras. I felt this connection with myself on such a deep level like I truly knew who I am. I felt tingly and warm and at first I was sad when I thought about everything that had happened to me and why I allowed myself to think it was what I deserved. But then I felt this immense joyful feeling at the prospect of what the rest of my life was going to be. I felt overwhelming peace and like I had tapped into something greater than me. Tears ran down my face from sadness or joy I don’t know, maybe both lol. I can’t say how long it lasted, but it felt like it was over too soon. I’ve never had that experience/feeling again, I wish I did it was so powerful and amazing. 
I was always extremely skeptical before that year and even now when I describe it I feel weird about it but it happened and I think it changed me. Perhaps it was an epiphany I don’t know 🤔 🙂
