Should I have another sweep before being induced?

Cervix was closed Wednesday and sweep HURT. They want me to book to more, am thinking about it now didn't want to
Hopefully work before induction next Friday

I wouldn’t do either. I would wait and let baby come when he or she is ready. I had a failed induction and do not believe we should be forcing babies out of the womb unless medically necessary. Post dates is not medically necessary on its own. Foetal or maternal distress, preeclampsia... those are risks. A baby that wants to develop a little longer is not a medical concern.

My sweeps didn't help at all just caused cramps and bleeding.

I had a sweep just past 41 weeks and contractions started about 12 hrs later. I personally wouldn’t agree to one any sooner though. They tend to work better when your body is ready.
