Did you mommas feel bad not breastfeeding?

I breastfeed while I was at the hospital but once I got home she didn’t seem like she was getting enough since wasn’t going to the bathroom much... so I gave in and gave her bottle and formula.. I still pump but I’m not making much 1-1.5 oz... and she won’t latch anymore...honestly thinking of just giving it up but then I feel terrible.. I’m alternating from formula and breast milk.. but ugh I feel so guilty :(

Don’t feel bad.  You not doing anything wrong.  You are doing what you need to to have a fed and healthy baby.

Feed that baby!! My son wasn't patient enough to wait for let down, so I ended up pumping and giving him formula. Did it for 5 months, but before making that decision I cried so much about it. Looking back - it's no big deal. My son got both breast milk and formula and he's a perfectly healthy 2 year old

You didn’t need to give formula, your baby very likely was getting enough. Baby to breast is the best way to produce milk. Most women give up easily because of the lack of education on breastfeeding. You’re not alone, a lot of women just jump right to formula without giving BFing a valid effort. It’s over now so you can likely just stop and continue with formula.

I did feel bad even though I exclusively breastfed until 7 months just using the one breast. I had mastitis in one and it dried up almost immediately even after being basically attached to the pump whenever I wasn't trying to get bub to feed from there. 
Looking back I wish I hadn't been so hard on myself. I wish I had let myself take a break, let myself rest, let myself be able to be in a better headspace and treasuring every second being a new mum by not crying over and stressing over the breastfeeding. While I do agree that breast is best and if you can, do it, I don't think that only physical ability to do it is the only important thing. It's a huge mental strain and you shouldn't feel bad for giving up if you gave it a good try. 
I will not be as hard on myself with this pregnancy if I have to formula feed earlier and I encourage you to keep your head up.

I did honestly... I just went straight to formula.. but I'm still producing (after 18 days ).. and i did put her on  a boob and i thought it kinda hurt but she was definitely getting something i was so shocked lol  I just wanted to try it

I felt very guilty but realised that formula was what was best for my baby and the switch was amazing for her. She was gaining, wasn't in pain and vomiting anymore (she had an allergy) and she started sleeping through the night and has done since. She was a much happier and healthier child. The guilt was all in my head because I felt judgement but fed is 100% best.

I struggled with it at first, but s happy healthy baby makes it worth it. I realized I was being selfish because I was starving him all because of the stigma! I gave him formula and he’s been such a good baby since. Gained over 2lbs in less then 2 weeks! 
Fed is best mama. Do what you feel is best for you and your baby.
