How do you all feel about induction?

I would never do it electively again. For medical reasons only, in my experience.

I got induced with my son a week before his due date. I was diabetic and not allowed to go past my due date. Induction process started at 7am and he was born at 10:37 pm. It went a lot smoother than I thought it would, but I think induction should only happen if it's absolutely needed. I'm 13 weeks now and hoping I won't need to be induced with this baby.

I always said only if it was medically necessary. Unfortunately that ended up being the case with baby #2 (leaking amniotic fluid) but even though he was overdue I would of preferred to wait till he was ready to come out on his own

I don't want to be induced. If baby is safe and happy in there it can stay in till it ready.

I would only do ot if medically necessary. Otherwise I'd just let the baby come whenever ready, regardless of how uncomfortable I was.

I was induced with my son & honestly it's a peace of cake compared to my back labour with my daughter, I didn't even know I was having contractions up until I was 8cm😂

Pregnant with my 3rd baby. Induced with Pitocin with my first and turn out he was late 2 weeks and had a horrible allergic reaction to my pregnancy at the end. Labor was 6 hrs or so. Second child was naturally induced. Labor was 4 hrs. I tend to drop hard when I’m 3 weeks from due date and get lots of Braxton Hicks. Also, stuck at 3-4cm for those 3 weeks.
