Missed/late period and late ovulation

I was due my period on the 9th of July but it’s now gone over. I took an ovulation test on the 11th and it showed it was nearing peak and then peaked later on in the day. I wasn’t expecting it as my period still hasn’t come. I have tried to conceive on the 11th but now I’m experiencing cramps similar to what I get when my period is coming up. Has anyone experienced this?

Sometimes a lo opk can be positive if you are pregnant.. not all the time so don’t count on it but I’d test if I were you x

There’s no way I could be pregnant as I only ovulated and tried on the same day which was Thursday. I’m just wondering if anyone had a missed/late period and ovulated really late. I’m normally a 40 day cycle x
