Kalief Browder Justice

Mo

Finally got around to watching the Kalief Browder documentary on Netflix.

If you haven't seen it, it's a must watch.

"Time: The Kalief Browder Story"

So after watching the documentary, I was absolutely heartbroken on what he and his family endured. I felt like they hadn't received significant justice.

The case had a number of failures and as a result the family was torn apart. There are.many others in similar situations and or circumstance, with the state prolonging cases without reprimand.

In the end the family received compensation, to the tune of $3.3M dollars.

Do you think those involved in the case: Judges, DA's, Prison Guards, Police, Attorneys who failed should not only receive financial reprimand, but also criminal charges?
