Should scientists revive ancient viruses in the permafrost now to begin working on anti viruses/ vaccines?

So I fell down the YouTube rabbit hole last night and somehow ended up in Nat geo section of YouTube. They were talking about the different things in the permafrost layer which had me a little concerned. 
The article I attached goes into detail better than I could

There was already a “dilemma” with anthrax. If scientist know that there could be potential viruses lingering in the permafrost should they be reviving ancient viruses to create an antivirus? 
Are there ethical issues doing this? 
Bonus;
For the ancient plants that can be revived should they be reintroduced back into our agriculture as well? 
It’s said there was a baby mammoth found with blood still in its veins. If scientist could clone or bring back the once instinct animal would you support it?

With the way the world has changed, they need to be extremely cautious bringing back plants and animals, especially ones that are or were extinct. If they get reimplemented incorrectly it could mean devastation.
For viruses/spores/etc, they need to be EXTREMELY CAREFUL because if any of the cells get loose, again, it could mean devastation. However, I think it is smart as long as they go about it correctly, as we can have vaccines before epidemics happen.

The viruses yes. Global warming is happening, and it’s best to be out in front of it with vaccines and research. 
Reintroduction of extinct plants and animals feels like one of those things that could have too many unintended consequences.

Ok. No. No. Noooooo! This is the beginning of every damned zombie movie or weird mutant virus that kills off the planet. Hell to the motherfucking no! From a scientific standpoint I can see how fascinating this is and generally I'm all about preparedness and if they could find vaccines that could prevent a future outbreak, that'd be wonderful. But...and that's a BIG but...all it takes is one little spore or what the fuck ever to hitch a ride on someone who may have not been 100% careful in handling this shit and boom, lights out. And let's face it, people are fallible and how do these things always start? A person made a tiny mistake that ends up wiping out the population. Hell no.

I don’t think it’s wise to “wake up” a virus we know nothing about... what if it infects a scientist and they spread it? What if they can’t make a cure and it kills hundreds or thousands of people? I understand they want to learn about everything in the past but some things should just stay in the past... 🤷🏻‍♀️ but that’s just my opinion I don’t know enough about what they do to say I’m accurate.

Yes to studying viruses but with extreme caution. 
As sad as it is, no to trying to revive and reintroduce animals and plants because it’s highly unlikely that our present ecosystem could handle them.

This is how the zombie apocalypse starts. I voted no, but thinking about it, I can see why they would want to revive the viruses. There's a chance that those diseases will be revived regardless due to human idiocy, so out probably is a good idea to find how viruses started to potentially cure anything that might arise from there & cure diseases we have now that may have originated from these dormant viruses.
