I live with my bf & his brother. His brother is renting a room from us & a couple months ago he decide to babysit his gf dog for the weekend without telling us. I didn’t make a big deal of it because the dog was “Potty-trained” during that weekend the dog peed on the carpet in my room + peed in the living room and hallway (which I had to clean) while my BIL wasn’t home all weekend except at night. The dog peed all over my BIL carpet in his room & to this day he has not cleaned it up. I told my bf that the dog is never allowed back here considering his brother didn’t pick up after it and it surely was NOT potty trained to pee on the pads like he claimed. Fast forward 3 months, this past weekend I came home and the dog is there again without it being mentioned to me... I get angry with my boyfriend and tell him he didn’t respect what I told him about his brother, He told me “I’m overreacting that it’s his brothers place too” well the dog pissed & shitted on my couch... and I’m livid!! This is not the first time they’ve both ignored my problems. I’m the only reason why the apartment is clean to begin with. I clean my bath/bedroom and kitchen/living weekly his brother is in charge of his bed/bath but I’ve only seen him clean it twice in the 7 months we’ve lived here. His brother also comes home from work late and leaves his dirty lunch Tupperware and trash in a bag on the counter and will leave it there for weeks until I bitch at my bf enough about it and he eventually just cleans it up for his brother. He’s 30 years old and I swear it’s just unacceptable. I’m not his mom and that’s why I refuse to clean up after him. The Lease ends in January and I can’t wait to move.
