Getting the implant (UK)

I may be sounding a little bit dense here haha, but how do I get the implant? Do I literally just ring up my GPs office and say I want the implant and they'll book an appointment to get it fitted... Or do I need to book a GP appointment first so just ring up ask for a GP appointment about contraception?! I get really anxious about phone calls and I'm dreading booking it because I don't want to sound like an idiot on the phone 🙈
