I’m so bummed out I feel like it was a waste of time. My gyno sent me to the imaging dep at the hospital for an early scan and I could tell as soon as the tech greeted me this wasn’t going to be what I expected, since she was wondering if I was sent there for any particular issues. She did both an outer and transvaginal ultrasound but just showed me the yolk sac. When I asked her if she could detect a heartbeat she said no because it was too soon. This was at 7w so I was very confused. Sure enough, the gyno’s office called today to say the Dr wants to send me back for another US because the tech didn’t get a heartbeat 🙄so now I’m worried sick that something could be wrong. I hate this back and forth! Has this happened to any of you?
