When to tell significant other?

I'm 3w 5d (super faint line)... husband wants me to surprise him when I tell him. How long did you wait to tell your significant other??

I toldt husband immediately because I have no self control.

I waited till i got a positive on a digital. My husband isn't a believer in faint lines. My first baby he didn't believe me till he saw that word "pregnant" 
So this time, when i got my faint line, I waited till i got "YES+"  and used that to tell him. There really is no denying a digital.

Hubby was already aware that af was late so he was just like “go ahead and test.” As soon as I got in from the store, he was on it. Lol. I barely came out of the bathroom before he was like “well!?”

I got my positive on Sunday it was the first picture. We had a close friends coming to have dinner with us. I was dying to take another hpt, I wanted a beer so bad and a cup of coffee but I controlled myself and didn’t tell anyone. On Monday I took my toddler to a drug store with a urine sample ready and took a frer and a digital (second picture) and tested in my car, immediately when to the lab and beta tested, I promise myself to the my husband as 2 days later when I got my second beta results but couldn’t helped it and that afternoon (Monday) we went out and when he was going to take my kid out of his car seat my kid gave his dad the digital test (I told him to give it to papa 😉) if you don’t have a history of miscarriage I recommend you to tell him when you have the digital bfp. But is hard to control ourself I know, we want to say it aloud. Let us know what you decide and his reaction.

I waited until i got a positive on a digital. My husband was with me when i got a super faint- so he didn’t believe it. Once i got the digital confirmation, i surprised him.
