Baby Odin born 18thJuly 9.08am

Hi ladies, my July baby has arrived 1week and 1day earlier than due date. His name is Odin and he weighs 8lbs1oz. A very short labour, woke from my sleep at 1am with contractions but once again thought it was a false alarm so I took two paracetamol and tried to go back to sleep, half two came by and I couldn’t sleep through them so I woke my partner. We came to the hospital at about 4am with contractions about 3mins apart, fully effaced and 4cm dilated. Reached 5cm by about 7.30 am and then my body started pushing on its own accord at about 8.30 as I was fully dilated. Baby was born at 9.08am! Had minimal gas and air as I didn’t found it helped this time round but I did have pethadine around 5am which didn’t really help the pain but kept me calm enough to handle the pain ☺️ very happy mum and baby!
