Ovulate without a positive OPK?

Question

I have PCOS and we are on our first month of 50mg Clomid. I’m on cycle day 17 and have been testing twice/day since day 10. The colors have gotten a little bit darker in that time but not super noticeably. That being said, I’m having creamy cm, horrible acne on my neck, cramping over my right ovary, extreme lower back pain and exhaustion. Is it possible to still ovulate and the OPK won’t pick it up? Any insight would be helpful!

It’s not likely. And having PCOS causes above average LH. When my PCOS was untreated I would have dark (but not quite positive) OPK everyday for months without any changes. 
When you do ovulate (or hit your fertile window) you’ll also notice a change in your CM. Even if you don’t have an abundance of EWCM, it will thin out and get more slick than sticky/creamy. 
It’s definitely frustrating ... Clomid didn’t actually work for me and made my cycles worse. After 3 cycles on it we tried something else. The trial and error was worthy it though! We have a 1.5 year old now!
