Never felt contractions?

I’m 38w5d and I’ve never felt a contraction. I read about all the women that have contractions weeks before labor. Anyone else never felt them before labor?

Never. And had a baby at 41+3.

For my first, I didn’t feel any contractions until labor started, and I KNEW it was labor.
This second time was more confusing and I was contracting for weeks.

I was having them and didn’t even know until I went in for a check. she said I was having one right then. When you feel an overall tightness around your whole tummy, that is one, then they start to become more local, like just in a certain area of your tummy, you’ll notice a tightness and a poking out of your tummy in a certain area. I always thought it was just him moving vigorously.

With my first, I was having contractions every 3 min and never knew. Didn't really start noticing them until I was already 5cm.

With my first I never felt one until I went into labor at 41+5. And had never been dilated on a cervix check. Totally normal.
