Enlarged kidneys?

Question

I had an US about 2 weeks ago and turns out my kidneys have been enlarged due to trapped urine.  Now I’m going in for a detailed US but I have no idea what to expect. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it something serious I should be worried about. I haven’t seen my doc yet but will next week

I had this! Pyelonephritis! I was 30 weeks and always have had problems with my damn kidneys pregnant or not!!! I was hospitalized for 2 or 3 days until I was 24 hours without a fever. I had a rigorous course of antibiotics for 7 days (x4 times a day), now I have switched to another antibiotic to stop recurrent UTIs which turn into kidney infections for me. I’ll be on this med until I am 6 weeks post partum. Best of luck to you & your baby 💗
