Around 6 dpo, I had very light brown spotting. Breasts sore vivid dreams, light cramping.

Last night I was a bit depressed bc I saw some light spotting and my period was due, but by the morning, nothing. Early evening, had a little darker red spotting, and now just had brown discharge. I usually would need a tampon by now, and never get brown discharge. What do you think it means. I have to wait til the morning to test just to be sure, but just wondering peoples thoughts!
