If my SO went to jail for hitting me and on their way out yelled they wanted a divorce and never wanted to see me again. Then I got fucked up and slept with an ex once (huge mistake). 2 weeks later at first court date SO told me they didn’t want divorce and wanted to work in marriage what do y’all think? We didn’t have any contact between arrest and first court date.

Did we both fuck up and can we move forward?

There’s been no contact with ex before or since. It was just a low moment/ fucked up disgusting mistake.
