Early ovulation?

So the weirdest thing!!! For the past couple of months I've been tracking ovulation with opk's. I have a little bit shorter cycle 24-25 days. And sometimes I would get a positive opk on day 14 and sometimes as late as 16. Which made me feel there was never enough time from when I ovulate til my next AF. For some weird reason this weekend while packing up for camping I thought why not, take some opk's with me. AF ended 2 days ago, I'm on day 8 right now, tested and positive!! While I feel relief like YES i caught it, i feel like i wasted all those months testing a little too late. Hopefully this may be our month!!
