So I'm a stay at home wife while going to school my husbands bday is coming up and I'm not sure what to get him and how lol or how to make his bday special while I was working before we moved it was easy because had money but this is a little more tricky. I know we share money but still feels weird I just I'm so used to working and making money this is different.

Something special does not have to cost a lot of money. 
What about writing 365 reasons why you love him, on little bits of paper. Fold them up & put them in a pretty glass jar. Attach a label instructing him to open one per day for the next year of his life.
The reasons can be as simple or as romantic as you like. I know 365 is a lot to think of under pressure 😅. 
Things you are grateful for etc.
It’s a simple, cheap and thoughtful gift. 🎁

You can get a bag of baloons for $1. Blow them up, string them together, and tape them to the ceiling/walls. It sounds really silly but when he walks in after working and sees that you took the time to decorate for his birthday,  it's a nice sentiment. You can also make a cake (the box cakes are super easy). Plus a sweet card and you're all set!

I’m not sure if your Kmart is the same as ours (I’m in Australia) but I bought my BIL’s a Kmart peg bucket and filled it with 6 different beers. I also included a gel ice pack which slided in between the beers and a pack of beer nuts. I also screwed a bottle opener to the peg bucket. I did all this for around $25 each
