At what point do I just go in??

Contractions have been averaging about 6 mins apart for over an hour now.... they aren’t painful really  but get a lot of pressure in my pelvic area with each one. I am just so tired of this sporadic crap and just wish my water would burst so I know for sure!!

My dr told me to go in once they were 5-1-1... 5 min apart last for about a min for an hour.

I’d wait until contractions are about 1 minute long and 2-5 min apart & so painful that you can’t walk or talk through them. 
I ended up going to the hospital at 6 cm and it’s so much better to be able to labor at home for most of your labor.

My doc told me when they hit 5 minute intervals to go in. You could always call labor and delivery alnd see if they want you to come in.

If you’ve tried changing activities (shower, walking, etc) and they continue I’d call to see if they want you to come in. I made the mistake of waiting too long this time and got to the hospital at a 6 and within 30 minutes I was 10 cm and pushing. My contractions were 7-5 minutes apart when I decided to go. I wish I hadn’t been so hesitant to go but I was afraid of being sent home.

At what point do I just go in??
