Today I've had a long day.. I walked around a farmers market we drove 2 hours to visit. I was in the sun for 5+ hours withstanding the summer heat while pregnant. I ended up getting sunburned, mostly on the tops of my feet, and blisters from my crappy sandals. After being on the road 4+ hours and a long day at the market I was ready to get home and sleep.

I was looking forward to tonight. It was really nice sleeping until it felt like something soft in between my toes, so I went to touch it. I fiddled with it for a second then the in-between of my toes started to stung and started burning with pain. I throw whatever was on my foot off the bed, and while upset I start yelling to my husband that a stupid spider bit me and it was really hurting.

After a while he finally realizes what's going on and wakes up to turn the light on. I have white small patches in between and on my toes, many of them. And I look down to see FIRE ANTS crawling around the foot of my side of the bed. 😭This is at a good 2:00am in the morning.

My small yorkpoo must have brought them in from outside because there are a couple nests in the backyard.

I checked her out, she does not have any more ants. Her poor tummy is a little red so she must've sat in a pile. And my poor foot has red swollen toes on top of my burned-achy-blistered feet. The bites still BURN. Any one know if fire ant bites are a problem during pregnancy? I'm keeping an eye out for an allergic reaction but for now my foot is on fire and hurts.
