How do you know it’s not bc of other reasons? What other reasons could there be for a positive ovulation test??

You can have an LH surge before and after your period. This is why you temp your cycle to confirm ovulation

Ovulation tests will pick up your LH hormone which is involved in Ovulation and your HCG hormone which is involved with pregnancy. I havent seen them react to anything else or heard of them doing so.
