Need some insight from you c section mamas!

I have a 6 year old and a 16 month old and we are having a baby boy in a month or so. Dr has mentioned a c section may be necessary this go around (not trying to debate that, just going from what he said to be prepared)

So I would love to hear your experiences of having a c section with other kiddos at home and what your recovery was like and anything else you’d like to share.

I don’t have much help around me and my husband can only take off a week from work so I’m just trying to wrap my head around the reality of it all in case it goes that way.
