Cramps and sex? Please help

Anyone else ever get really bad cramps right when you start having sex?

I don’t mean after because I know that orgasms can sometimes cause contractions. But I don’t get that far, I’ll start cramping particularly on one side a couple minutes into sex and no matter the position. It really hurts and makes it to where I just can’t continue. And it usually stops right when we stop. It’s killing my sex drive y’all! Total buz kill. Poor hubby feels bad because he doesn’t know what he’s doing to cause it.

Could it be round ligament pain?

I’d love to know if anyone else has experienced this and if it eventually subsides. I plan to ask my doc at my next appointment but that’s not for another 2 weeks.
