Symptoms for Weeks but it is all gone when approaching period?

Ok. I’m confused. I had all pregnancy symptoms for a week and half since I O’ed. As soon as my period approaches; it did intensify but then it died quickly. I am 2 days away. Does it mean I’m out now that I’m starting to spot today.

Pregnancy and PMS symptoms are basically the same because they are caused by the same hormone - progesterone. After you ovulate progesterone rises quickly giving you all those symptoms (sore breasts, bloating, mood swings, nausea, etc.). When you’re NOT pregnant, the progesterone drops down a couple days before your period and actually triggers your body into having a period. When you ARE pregnant, the progesterone keeps rising, increasing symptoms and preventing your period from starting. So, that’s all to say that it’s totally normal for those progesterone-fueled symptoms to disappear right before AF.
