What should I Do?

okay I been with my bf for 5 years he is 29 i am 25 and I just found out he has had an order protection against him when he was 19 against his ex gf because they had a fight and she called the cops .. he claim he never told me because he was young and didnt want me to think he was crazy... for these past 5 years it has been nothing but amazing and he has never hit me or did anything out of the ordinary when we argue so I dont want to end it since it so much history with us and love because he is my world but should I ignore it and accept his past because he was young and had a heated argument with ex or should I be cautious ?

If you’ve been with him for 5 years and he’s been nothing but “amazing” to you I wouldn’t worry or make him feel weird about it.. plus he was young and it’s impossible to know everything that went on that night. Just accept him for who is towards you and appreciate that.

I think the two of you should talk about the importance of being honest and truthful with each other, even with the not-so-good stuff. Tell him that it makes you feel like he betrayed your trust, even though you know he's a good person.
Don't punish him for something he did a long time ago, if he truly has changed since then. Use this as an opportunity to learn how to communicate more openly and gain each other's trust.

10 years is a long time to grow and change. If he's been nothing but amazing to you for 5 years, I'd take him for who he is now, not who he may or may not have been then or on a single night. 
None of us are really the same people we were 10 years ago. We grow and change, sometimes from experiences, sometimes from a willful effort. 
I'm not the same violent person I was 15 years ago. I saw how it affected my life and my relationships and I learned better communication skills and dealt with childhood trauma in a healthy way. I now nurture and encourage the people around me. 
My husband isn't the drug running thug he was 20 years ago. He's a hardworking, humble man who takes care of his family and who loves me and his children more than anything in the world. 
Be happy about the man he grew into.

Honestly.. if he's been good to you I wouldn't really trip on it. My current bf had a restraining order against him from his ex and it was just lifted in feb. And I never once judge him or thought about leaving because at the time he was on drugs and wasn't himself. You learn from your mistakes.

I would ignore it and maybe be cautious. He was young and dumb probably. But keep an eye out for anger issues just in case.
