Has anyone seen this before? She does not seem to be in pain but it seems to be itchy. Just wondering if it looks like a typical baby classic thing or not

So she is better now after I cleaned everything and followed her all the time to wipe and keep her dry. I still have the feeling it was bed bug + heat + dirt. And yes vaccination was s disaster this time with high fever for 3days so maybe it added to the cocktail

She has not had a bath for 3days as she had vaccination and was very unwell. Could it be a rash linked to being dirty?

I have washed her, put emollient cream, changed clothes bedding etc and we will see how that goes. Not worried yet as there is no fever no pain....

Maybe a bug bite.  My son’s ear gets hot, puffy, and itchy when he gets a big bite

Could it be heat spots?
My little one had something similar, but was more on his face than to the side. I was advised to use aveeno baby emollient wash and emollient cream - worked a charm.
Ask the health visitor if you're worried.
