Talking loud near the babies ears

My mother in law is one of those extremely obnoxious people who just talk really loudly. And when she gets excited during a conversation she starts screaming. It’s always bothered me but now I hate it because she will be holding our 11 week old and have the babies head right next to her mouth when she talks like this. I seem to be the only one bothered by it but I feel like that’s probably not good for the babies ears and I worry she is going to cause her hearing loss if she keeps doing it.
